QR code generator with logo
About QR codes with logos
How do I add a logo to my QR code?
Add a website link and upload a PNG, JPG, or WebP image. Dotlane uses high error correction, keeps the center logo small, and preserves key QR recognition patterns. On the result page, the finished image must decode to your original content before downloads are enabled.
Which logo images can I use?
PNG, JPG, and WebP files up to 5 MB and 4,096 pixels on either side are supported. A simple, compact mark is easier to recognize than a detailed wordmark at this small size.
Will the SVG include my logo?
Yes. The QR modules remain vector shapes and the normalized logo is embedded as a PNG inside the SVG. It does not depend on an external image URL.
Can I make the logo fill most of the code?
The logo badge is deliberately limited and may shrink if needed. This protects recognition. Some alignment patterns may remain visible over the image. Always test the downloaded image and your actual printed sample.
Are PNG and SVG downloads free?
Yes. Both formats are available without an account or a watermark. PNG has a fixed pixel size; SVG can scale cleanly for print layouts.
Can I add my own logo?
Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG, or WebP up to 5 MB. The logo stays on your device and is embedded in both PNG and SVG downloads. We use high error correction, limit the logo size, and preserve key QR patterns. Downloads become available only after the finished image decodes to your original content.
Does the scan check guarantee every phone will work?
The check verifies the generated image with a local QR decoder. Camera quality, printing, lighting, and scanner apps still affect real-world results. Test the downloaded code on your phone and at its intended print size before sharing.
