Phone QR code generator

How does a phone QR code work?

The code stores a tel link with your phone number. A compatible phone offers to open the dialer. The person scanning decides whether to place the call.

Does the code call automatically?

No. It opens the number in a compatible dialer or asks for confirmation. It does not place a call from this website.

Which number format should I use?

Use + followed by the country code and national number. Spaces, parentheses, dots, and hyphens are accepted and removed when the code is created.

Are extensions supported?

Not in this version. Use a direct international number and test it on a phone before printing.

Are PNG and SVG downloads free?

Yes. Both formats are available without an account or a watermark. PNG has a fixed pixel size; SVG can scale cleanly for print layouts.

Can I add my own logo?

Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG, or WebP up to 5 MB. The logo stays on your device and is embedded in both PNG and SVG downloads. We use high error correction, limit the logo size, and preserve key QR patterns. Downloads become available only after the finished image decodes to your original content.

Does the scan check guarantee every phone will work?

The check verifies the generated image with a local QR decoder. Camera quality, printing, lighting, and scanner apps still affect real-world results. Test the downloaded code on your phone and at its intended print size before sharing.
