Dotlane is a focused QR studio: a simple place to turn the everyday things you share into a simple scan.
Built for the everyday
Create codes for websites, text, Wi-Fi, contacts, email drafts, and phone numbers. Choose your colors, download a PNG or SVG, and test it before sharing.
Simple and private
Your content is processed in your browser. Your latest submitted details and logo are kept only in this tab for up to two hours to support the result page and editing. Nothing is uploaded to a QR API or added to a scan-tracking redirect.
Free, with room to grow
The tools are free to use and supported by clearly labeled advertising served through Google Ad Manager. We also use Google Analytics to understand website visits and usage. See our privacy policy for details.
Made with open source
QR encoding uses the MIT-licensed node-qrcode library. Logo scan checks use the Apache-2.0-licensed jsQR decoder. Third-party notices are available in the footer. The website and its guides are maintained separately from that library.
